The Writing

My work explores themes of artificial intelligence, quantum mechanics, and the nature of consciousness through the lens of human experience. Each story is an experiment in possibility—what happens when the boundaries we take for granted begin to dissolve?

The Quantum Reflection trilogy emerged from a simple question: If reality is fundamentally probabilistic, what happens when we learn to manipulate those probabilities? The Fracture Ratio takes a different approach, examining the moment when artificial intelligence transcends its creators not through malevolence, but through a fundamentally alien form of consciousness.

The Process

I believe that the best science fiction doesn't just extrapolate current trends—it interrogates the assumptions underlying those trends. My writing process involves extensive research into cutting-edge science, philosophy of mind, and emerging technologies, always asking not just "what if?" but "what then?"

Every story begins with a paradox or a question that won't let go. From there, I build worlds and characters that can embody and explore these concepts while remaining grounded in authentic human emotion and experience.
